NUTRAFOL CONSUMER CLASS ACTION INVESTIGATION
Hair growth supplements come and go. Most produce questionable results and some are outright scams. It’s a lucrative market, so there’s always a new player. One of the newest is NUTRAFOL. It uses paid promotions, influencers and slick ads to blanket TV, social media, and websites with claims like these:
- ”Proprietary formulation.”
- ”Natural medical grade ingredients.”
- ”Clinically effective, natural ingredients [that are] standardized for consistently reliable results in every dose.”
- ”All of our products are powered by potent and concentrated plant extracts for superior results.”
- ”Clinically proven formulas.”
- ”Physician-formulated.”
- ”Science-backed.”
- ”Clinically tested.”
- ”Award winning.”
NUTRAFOL is sold at Sephora stores across the U.S. and online. It’s pricey at $88 or more for a single month’s supply and according to NUTRAFOL, it must be taken daily, or any results will be lost. So, is NUTRAFOL what it says it is? There are questions and WE ARE INVESTIGATING A POTENTIAL CONSUMER CLASS ACTION AGAINST NUTRAFOL.
We are not the only ones with questions. Ad watchdog group Truth in Advertising has filed a complaint with the FDA and FTC over NUTRAFOL’s hair growth supplement representations asking for a full government investigation.
